Unable to get 'help' from Tweddle?
Has anyone been having issues with Tweddle not answering their phone, or email? Maybe related to the holiday, but I cannot get any response…been days, and the customer is pissed.
Just updated my PC/laptop, and Nissan does not recognize the ‘new’ laptop? Went from 8.1 (which worked fine with NERS), to Win 10 Pro 64 so I could use R2R…Nissan didn't like/want 8.1, but now, it states that because the laptop is not the same (?), the R2R program was used on another PC/laptop…of course, it's the same laptop as I have been using for years, so what the heck gives…? I could understand that reasoning, (they don't want you to clone two systems on separate laptops, they want you to pay), but I have paid, and they still won't allow it.
So, I contact the help desk, and the posted number “is not accepting incoming calls”?! Email Tweddle, and no response whatsoever…
Anyone got a number, or email that actually works, where tweddle will actually return contact?
I saw an article dated … that announced Tweddle had been acquired by another company called CJK Group. Thereis another article datedyesterday as well. Possibly a reorg going on.
I've never been able to get a response from them. We aren't their customer, anyway. They are just a publishing company for a number of OEM service back-ends. I keep a copy of NERS v3 around for those times that the verification engine for v4 fails.
… They have to release your old computer, I just went through this last week.
Create a new account and then purchase the R2R and license it on there. I had to do this a month ago because no one was responding to emails. I never had a phone number for them. Their rep tool four days to get back with me and said my emails went to the junk folder. They did refund my money for the original locked out account.
Well, in the end, neither Tweddle, nor Nastf responded ever, despite repeated attempts. I just did as Bruce suggested, and started a whole new account, and that got me back ‘on-line’. Still trying to get the ninety dollars back from them, but it looks as though that money is gone in the wind…
