Auto Care Assn and Partners Unveil Secure Vehicle Interface (SVI) at AAPEX 2018
For those attending Industry Week at the end of the month in Las Vegas May want to check into the various presentations that talk about the future of vehicle data access. Here is a quote from the link provided below:
“Auto Care Association, in partnership with Q-Free; Concepts & Services Solutions (CSC); OnBoard Security; Green Hills Software/Integrity Security Services (GHS/ISS); and CarMD/Innova will showcase three separate demonstrations to highlight how the new technology enables secure and direct access to vehicle data.”
Be interesting to see how the vehicle manufacturers except this technology. I am curious how this interface will work with the new standards just implemented (J3138) and the now being developed diagnostic interface standards (J3146) by SAE Data Link Security Committee.
I look forward to you bringing these questions forward during this panel discussion Craig.
The link you provided shows these presentations at their booth. What panel discussion are you referring to?
I apologize, I‘m assuming that they will have a panel of SME’s on hand to answer questions like you posed. Would you like to connect during the week and visit them together?
Here‘s the link to the Panel Discussion they have lined up where they plan to discuss the SVI:
