2014 GMC Truck Terrain FWD L4-2.4L cam crank wave form?
I am looking for a cam crank wave form for this car. This engine was patched together. I performed an in cylinder pressure transducer test and found exhaust cam retarded (so I believe) I would just like to confirm. Any help with a known good wave form would be great. If known let me know if the vvt's were plugged in at the time of capture.
Car will stall if accelerator is gently depressed but my customer drove it on the highway down to me 45 min no problem. Also slightly low vacuum.
Sounds like you got change over year parts. 2010 had a change over ½ the year and the parts do not interchange correctly, Junk yard crossover books says it will work but it will not without replacing the camshaft and the actuator for the intake side.. If heads were swapped or camshafts or actuators or a combination of then I would recheck my parts. your car has to have the 2014 cams and…
During my transducer testing I notice very high running compression. Once I disconnected the solenoids the running compression was normal but exhaust cam was still retarded. I have learned not to assume its incorrect thus the wave form confirmation. Thank you very much for your reply. Very impressive knowledge of this engine thank you once again. Also I'm not 100% confident they assembled this…

lol, It is just school of hard knocks.. I fought one of these after installing a junk yard engine, only reason im seasoned on these
