Subaru outback PCM replacement
I have a 2013 subaru outback we are replacing the PCM on it. its brand new from the dealer they said all we needed to do was register the vin on it. I'm getting a code b1571 im not sure where to go from here everything else was working properly. my autel shows to do a ecm registration and i got the code from the dealer but it shows an error.

need to program/Flash pcm either with j2534 or actual dealer tool. this will allow you to write vin. or some scan tools are able to write vins to pcm on some makes what are you using autel J2534. make sure your Laptop processor is i5 or above. recently had similar issues with other manufacturer and spoke to well known programmer, told me i7 and above with new Java updates works best with…
Need to short out the test connector which could be underneath the dashboard or underneath the carpet left side of the glove box. It is green connector. From there you can program with any scan tool that is capable of writing VIN then program the key.
