Due to the limited durability of AdBlue, AdBlue has a 2 year lifespan from date of production. It is essential that AdBlue is stored between minus 5 degrees and 20 degrees Celsius. AdBlue can decompose if it is stored at 30 degrees or more for extended periods of time – ammonia can form in such instances. What readings are you looking for on the refractometer? Can I use the same one as the one for batteries and antifreeze.

On a refractometer it should read 32.5 percent .

You need one that is scaled to read the quality of the urea so while technically a antifreeze refractometer would work but you do not have a true scale to use. discountinstruments.com.au/refractometer…

Thanks for the info. I figured as much when I read what scale you said yo used. I'll have to look into that as I have had several sit outside all winter at -18C for several months. Good tip. I will probably just drain them and get fresh to be safe

If there is a warning on the cluster there should be a code somewhere in the vehicle. What are you scanning with?

I’m not sure of fords since I work on heavy truck but work with a lot of def issues. I see your searching the pcm. Does this vehicle have a after treatment module that might be storing the code?

That is not many KM. It may be that there is a TSB for this and a software update. Do you have dealer warrantee in the Congo? Should be covered.

Can you post that data in graph format, adjust the min/max to match data.
