During the NASTF Vehicle Security Call today 3/2/22 MB USA TRP contact Bradley Strine told us that DAS4 Keys will be available now to VSPs. These are pre-programmed. He said that FBS4 keys will not be able to be programmed using Xentry. The availability of keys is forward progress. In California Vehicle code the Key and or immobilizer code are called out. To clarify, ISPs will now be able to order preprogrammed FBS4 keys through the TRP process?
That is what we were told. The recorded call is available on the Vehicle Security Team page in nastf.org Likely a couple of weeks out before the process is in place on the MB side. NASTF has the update complete and sitting in our test environment ready for deployment.
