1GTEC29079Z… GMC Sierra No comm with ABS, SIR, I have communication with the modules on either side of the ABS. one is low speed the other is high speed not sure how they would effect each other. 60 ohm if I check the bus. Load tested powers and grounds to the ABS Module. No DTC's Other than the warning lights on the dash. Sorry I dont have the VIN and other information in the correct places but Every time I put them in the correct spots they disappear.

I’m sure they will communicate in some form since SIR looks at speed, yaw rate etc to deploy airbags in certain levels with one squib or both. Is there a gateway they connect with? Look at a wiring diagram with network only and then both those system circuits. 60 ohms is fine if you are checking HS only since it depends on where the resistors are for HS. LS won’t be like that. Scope time to…

If I remember correctly the air bag is on the gm lan terminal 1 of the dlc, I don't think it is on the can bus. Look under the drivers seat and check for moisture trapped around the air bag module. Check the ground to the abs on the frame under the drivers door. The gateway is the bcm. Make sure the body ground to the engine is o.k. this can mess with abs communications.

Looking at the diagram it shows the fuel pump module after the BCM. I can comm with the fuel pump module. Doesn't that prove the integrity of the bus? or am I way off? I added a pic of the bus signal. I only know that they should mirror each other. It seems that they do. ground under the door is clean. body ground to the engine? there is a ground from the battery to the front of the frame…

Hi Dave this raymond, Diagnostic/flash programming, haven’t heard from u in a while. Yes lab scope signal should 2.5 to 3.5 can high and can low should be 2.5 to 1.5. The air bag is on pin 1 low speed. what I would do is look for a splice pack for low speed abs should be on high speed sounds like u mite have two issues. Anyways I would get out data wiring diagram from more than one source to…

Found the serial data enable wire only had .5 volts with key on. This is basically a 12 volt wake up. Found the under hood fuse box cover rubbed it in half. Soldered in a new piece every thing is happy again.
