Join NASTF User Group - Service Information and Community Platform
NASTF has partnered with Diagnostic Network to create a new kind of user group to benefit NASTF Members. Diagnostic Network is providing us with two special features:
- A NASTF user group to support our growing community
- A new NASTF Service Information Request (SIR) platform
Here you will be able to post and view SIRs, which are NASTF’s tool to facilitate resolution of gaps in service information, tool related issues and training between automakers and the independent aftermarket. When submitting an SIR, the form will ask for specific information during the creation process, including a VIN number to assist the automaker technical staff. Many SIRs are not truly gaps in service information, but they do indicate that a technician needs assistance in one of the areas that NASTF serves. The intent of this platform is to allow NASTF’s unique member base to assist one another in an efficient and professional manner. We encourage all members participate in this new user group.
Items posted as an SIR will be moderated by NASTF Staff. Automakers are encouraged to answer directly to the SIR or send solutions to NASTF for posting. Pictures, videos, links or files are welcome additions to a Service Information Request. Resolved SIRS will be displayed on the related automaker brand page on nastf.org to give members a one stop shop for everything related to that brand. This service is free to NASTF Members.
This is a professional community platform which requires professional discourse, disrespect will not be tolerated. Sharing fact and not opinion will go a long way towards leading us all to success.
Both Diagnostic Network and NASTF encourage their members to use the same email address to log onto both sites. The sites will link the accounts together. NASTF Vehicle Security Professionals should change their DN email to match rather than changing their NASTF SDRM email to avoid losing access to the vehicle security registry. If in doubt please email NASTF support for assistance …
Do we have to do anything special to get into the user group??
