I am having problems with GM Techline Connect. When I call the 800 number they remote in, look around, and then say they don't know why I am getting the error showing in the attachment. I am unable to complete the programming Job I have. GM's tech support acts like they really don't care. Suggestions?

What kind of module are you trying to program, ask the next guy if they can give you access to the old SPS. I had several jobs last week and the old SPS did it fast and easy….

Same issue. I just call and complain until they give me access to old SPS. Snap-On tells me it's an issue with Delco…Delco tells me it's a Snap-On issue. It's irritating.

I had one recently that was giving me that error using our autel vcmi, I tried to use my mastertech 2 and it loaded but said there was an unrecognized calibration. Found out from the customer the truck was tuned.

Thank you, everyone, for your help. I called back and got a little firm with them. They remoted in and reinstalled something. It works now. GM=Generally Messed.

I know you already have it resolved but I was having the same issue yesterday. I did a reinstall and it fixed the issue. In my case, it appeared the J2534 wrapper failed to install properly. Something to think about if you have future issues.

Got a call to flash a 2005 Malibu PCM today, and your heads-up saved me from having to sit on the phone with tech support today. Uninstalled, re-installed, and the wrapper issue was gone. Thanks!

That's awesome! Glad to hear it was helpful. Nothing worse than sitting on forever hold with tech support when you're trying to get a job done.

Sadly it depends on who you get and if they want to work. My first experience with GM was awesome, tech logged in and was surgical on my laptop:updating Java, Turing off my firewall, updating a driver, suppling me with the old SPS for the 2020 Buick I was working on and BAAM: he did the entire program for me then left my laptop the way he found it. All at 7:30 at night.

Hi Justin I had this problem the other day and everything from logging on to paying for the subscription to getting to the same fault you have happened to me i worked out that i had to download techconnect software again as if it was the first time and relaunch again and it started to work and let me in. I was able to then complete the re-flash to a new cruze TCM. But it seems every time i…
