Does anyone have a known good cam/crank scope pattern for this 3.0 inline 4 diesel engine that you would be willing to share? I have exhausted other groups and online resources.

What is it doing? There are no official patterns for cam and crank from FCA for it.

Correct, There is no published information from FCA for these patterns. I do not have access to one of these and am looking to add these patterns to my database.

the diagnostics of this engine are mainly fuel based and there really is no need, if timing is off they break rocker arms rather then bend valves, one tooth off and damage will occur. The cam and crank sensors are hall effect sensors so any hall effect pattern will work to verify a signal.

Thanks for your help. I don't need any assistance with diagnostics. Just looking for a known good cam/crank pattern if anyone happens to have one. Please note - The Crank sensor is an a/c pulse generator not a hall affect sensor. The cam sensor is a hall effect sensor.

Would you care to elaborate on where you got your information. I have had more then a few apart. Mostly due to broken glow plugs

Seems there is some conflicting information for the crank sensor?

Typical FIAT information confusion, just looking at wiring information it is a 2 wire sensor so I stand corrected. Never paid much attention to it while having one apart as most of the time it is out for a cylinder head because of the crap glow plugs they use.

I think some progress has been made. I had tech on another online forum suggest searching for the engine “F1C 16V 3.0L” on rotkee.com Sure enough 2 hits came up. Until I can confirm otherwise I am rolling with this one for now.
