Consult R2R stable and compatible J2534
So I was wandering if the Consult R2R for programming and reprogramming was actually working these days? Also I have a snap on pass thru 3 and 4. I know they are rebranded Cardaqs, but I was wandering if they will work or if I will definitely need the Cardaq specific J-box. I haven't done a Nissan reflash since 2017 and then someone let me use theirs to show me. The have since moved to a different state and doesn't work on cars anymore. So they weren't able to answer my questions.
The Cardaq 3 Plus, Cardaq M and the new Nissan VI3 are compatible with the R2R version. Consult can be kind of buggy, thats my experience using genuine consult. Iam sure the R2R version is equally as buggy as the versions are always behind.
I have used my Cardaq 3plus several times with good success on Nissan R2R. If the snap on is exactly the same thing I don’t see why it would work. Making sure to get the file into the right folder is the key for the R2R sofoto find it and install. I always have to look it up when working on them. They also have another software, I can’t remember the name for older Nissans.
If you want reflash ! Sure you can use the nerds is only for reprograming!! but if you need a scanner R2R ners!! you need to pay a year of subscription $350 they give you a user an password to login every time when you flash, but yo need to pay for every file !! $30
So only to reflash or program the 350 $ cost is not necessary?
If you're using NERS, then the fee is 350/annum. R2R can be purchased for a daily sub, IIRC.
I thought the $350 for NERS was a one and done not yearly?
