NASTF SDRM question

Sean Technician Forest Lake, Minnesota Posted   Latest   Edited

Good morning,

Just a quick question, I updated some of my expired documents on the NASTF SDRM site a little over a month ago. To be clear, this was not the VSP ID renewal, just updating identification & insurance info. The status for both has said "pending approval" for about 30 days now, and I was just wondering how long it's currently taking for those to get approved, so I can plan accordingly now & in the future. Or it's also possible I did something wrong.

Thank you for any advice!

I just finished the renewal application this morning. I sent an email to support to inquire about validation estimated time. I was told approximately 3 weeks before I receive an approval. greg

You have to call them or email them. there something they need to complete your appt. they will not call you or email you at all. I had same issue. I call them and they told me I need addition documents. thats after six week. They email me, said they have everything now.

Phillip, I want to respond to that. If our folks reject a document the system mails you immediately with our notes. There were a few growing pains with various email services rejecting those emails. We have had that resolved since May. If you do not get our notices it is almost certainly because the email went to your spam folder. We recommend that you white list the following…

I have to respond to this. I didn’t get any email and I did click on the ready to review tab. I had to also send an email where I was informed of the missing documents as to why it didn’t get accepted. This is a common issue that I know several have had a problem with NASTF.

Because your documents were uploaded (10/2018) prior to shutting off the migration routine this summer the notifications would not have worked. All of those applications are subject to the prior system rules. This was why we decided to turn the Migration tool off. We have called and or emailed every single active account that had not migrated and worked through it with them. We have a routine…

Greg thanks for creating an opportunity for me to update the DN community on how we work as we have learned more about volumes and processes. For the majority of applicants how have all of their documents nailed down on the first try it works like this Registry document review team will see your renewal or application on our dashboard within minutes of your payment and completion of all…

Sean, This is a recently activated part of the SDRM software. When we were doing the migration process we were not able to use this "update your document" part of the package. Now that it has been implemented and VSPs are being notified about 60 days prior to documents expired it has caused a huge influx of documents that need to be reviewed and approved. Around 2000 at the moment. Our…

Hi Donny, I know a local shop owner, who has a felony on his record from when he was younger, and he has tired contacting nastf about whether, or not he can obtain an lsid, and he has never gotten any response. Do you know if that would stop him, or not?

email support his information and if possible what contact method he was using. We have had a couple of these conversations but I am not aware of any open items. ….org They will send this to our registry team and we can follow up with him. To answer your question about a felony generally yes. If it is old or very unrelated it will not. If he applies and does not…

Edward, At first blush the best bet is to have your own account and use it where you work as a primary. If your employer is aware of your business this should be easy enough. NASTF credentials the individual and not the entire business. We do tie your account to a business for insurance and licensing purposes. If you are the only VSP at your current employer. Please reach out to…
