Unable to access Tesla Toolbox
What repair are you unable to perform?
Unable to access Toolbox application or service information. Attempt login @ toolbox.tesla.com with good credentials Invalid password or expired Toolbox subscription. I cannot request a new password or purchase a new subscription. I purchased a 1 month subscription when I signed up, and have not been able to access it.
I also registered at service.teslamotors.com/user/login and have been unable to access my account. the message I receive is:
The username david.… has not been activated or is blocked. This account is still awaiting VAT ID validation. You will receive an e-mail once this is complete.
I have attempted to contact Tesla at the following email addresses, with no response:
What information are you having trouble obtaining?
I am unable to access the Tesla Toolbox or service information.
What steps have you taken to obtain the information you need?
I have contacted Tesla via both support email accounts with no response.
Hi David, Over the past week, daily I have been logging into Toolbox 3 and accessing a Model3. Additionally I have also subscribed to SI and was able to access the service with no difficulty. Scott, Now that this message populates and directs me to the correct website, which it was not doing before today, I was able to get in eventually. I have tried this everyday since 8/27 and never received that notification until today and Tesla support has been radio silent. Thank you for this information. I was having the exact same issue but I never submitted an SIR because I thought being an all electric car, they played by separate rules.
Thank you both Scott and Dave for working through this. In our original post we suggested that there were going to be some changes and it seems that is the case. Not the changes we understood were going to happen but similar. When there is a resolution I will create a digest and post it before closing this SIR.
