AC Oil Capacity
I hope someone can help. I need total ac oil capacity for this 2015 Subaru Forester. Mitchell and Identifix dont show it and our local Subaru dealer won't answer the phone. We are installing a compressor kit with new condenser so we need total capacity. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I received a brand new Subaru Valeo compressor and there is no oil in it. I got about 2 oz out of old compressor. We are replacing condenser assembly with drier and flushing lines/hoses. Condenser was clogged up, so no oil come out of it. Subaru dealer finally text me a picture of service info and it doesn't list ac oil.
Subaru TIS says to check the UnderHood label for oil capacity.
The underhood decal shows the refrigerant charge amount and oil type. It does not list oil Capacity. I found a small sticker on the compressor that shows 80 cm3 which converts to 2.7 oz. Is that the total Capacity or just the compressor Capacity. I called the dealer again with no help.
Your right. It should be. Lol. Thanks for your input. I looked everywhere and the only thing i found was a small sticker on the compressor that shows 80 cm3. I converted this to 2.7 ozs but i still don't know if that is compressor capacity or total capacity.
Try 4s.com Click the tab Catalog and then Compressor Oil Capacity Guide. Then type in vehicle specifics.
Matthew's Suggestion is sound - Four Season's Capacity Guide is the best overall oil guide out there-I suggest the PDF version of it be downloaded and kept as a reference. Nonetheless, I copied the section pertaining to the Subaru Forester - The file is attached.
I appreciate the response Robert with the attached file. I got the Subaru fixed this afternoon. Blowing nice and cold. 👍
