FORD adding keys in IDS

Hi all, I recently "migrated" my VSP account successfully and I faced my first challenge last week.

I tried to add a key to a 2018 F150 and when attempting to login, I was unable to using my new SDRM password, my old one, my username and AUTHY , etc.

NASTF appears to be overwhelmed right now so I thought I would ask here.

Does anyone know what set of credentials are correct for what I am trying to do?

Todd We are actually less than an hour on email support right now … but since you asked and I was between things.... I am not fully clear on what you were doing but here is how it goes: You login to Motorcraft Service with your regular Ford login info. For key codes and immobi codes you will use your VSP ID (LSID) and authy as your password. Now that you are

Thanks for your quick response. I am attempting to add a cut key with IDS. So, you use your original LSID and AUTHY to log in via NASTF? Is this correct?

With IDS, when you enter PATS functions, you are presented with a list of choices. parameter reset, add 1 key, etc. You are directed to log in with your credentials to either Motorcraft or NASTF. So, I would enter my original 8 digit LSID, run AUTHY and enter the AUTHY code, correct? Thanks.

That is the correct procedure. I would like to add that IDS/FJDS may require some browser settings to be adjusted. There should be a help link on Motorcraft service (top right of the page) and I think the IE windows opened from FJDS also has a link on the page for settings as well. Ford also runs all of their web based functions in IE, not edge or chrome. IE should be the default browser. I

This was something we forwarded to the Ford team yesterday. They said they are looking into it. We have 154 good transactions yesterday which is about a normal day for them. It seems like the root cause will not be all users.

That is right. I want to put one caveat out for others reading this. Your VSP ID is located in your account if you click on your email address under "users" on the menu. Top right of the screen. Some of you who migrated had expired accounts and receive new VSP IDs. Be sure you have the right information before you do this. Also, thanks to Chris Snyder for his suggestion on browser setup. Situation resolved. I checked my username as Donny suggested and although my account had not expired, the username was now all CAPS. When input correctly and with Authy, everything is working. Thanks to all who responded.
