Ciao Group,

You have by chance discovered a way to temporarily disable the automatic shutdown of the instrument panel?

Thank you all

Luca- On other European makes, I simply enable the flashers. Try that.

You could always jumper a relay to power up the car. Like a run/start relay on a Ford. My co-workers have jumpered IGN relays on Toyota during an all keys lost programming event because the scan tool would not turn on the ignition. Just an idea.

Ciao Group, thanks you all, today I tried again turning the emergency flashers and the headlights on in a same vehicle but the instrument panel turns off after 15 minutes.

Ciao Paul, I would like to keep the ignition on for longer. When you are in the diagnosis you have to turn the ignition back on every 15 minutes, this is a nuisance especially if you work remotely ...
