Hello all, just a quick tip on replacing the multiair units on these engines. Where Service information says to use the special tools to align the unit with the valves, GET THE ALIGNMENT PINS AND USE THEM. alignment pins are # … also need spring compressor tool #10259B.
I just got done replacing the multiair unit without using the alignment oins and bent top of the valve stem.. Head removal required :(
