NVH app on sale and NVH class next week
The NVH app that is normally $399 has been on sale for a few weeks now for $99. I don’t know when this sale will end but I would recommend getting it for quick vibration analysis. The app was written by the same guy that wrote the software for Picoscope’s NVH kit. I will be giving a class on Noise, Vibration and Harshness next week. Starting on April 20th at 7pm EST. go to CTIonline.com to register. If you have trouble getting registered, contact me directly and I will help.
Mr flaco will you be going over the ats nvh. I’m looking to learn how to use it for engine vibration.
I think this is a good class for any vibration but unfor I have not gotten the chance to try Bernie’s NVH tool yet.
Awesome! I wasn't aware of it being on sale, and have been disgusted at myself for not buying it at the initial release price, but I just got it. Thank you!
Marlin, you'll be amazed at the amount of information that John Kelly included in his Vibration Diagnosis tool. I bought it on sale for $99 USD when it was first introduced and purchased a windshield mount for my iPhone. Like when using a reed tachometer, mounting is critical for maximum sensitivity. Early on, I did some comparisons in the shop with the PicoScope GM NVH kit and my old resonant…
Wherever you download apps for your phone. See below for a link to the IOS App Store.
Thanks for the heads up! Had my eye on this app for a few years now.
Never heard of this before! I have a CX5 i need to replace an axle shaft on. Curious of the before and after and if it will confirm my diagnosis.
This is just one screen capture for my Honda Element when I knew it needed tires, of course I had ignored them for far too long. Any vibration shows up in red. Notice both the tires and trans are red. I was recording it so that after I replaced the tires I could get a known good to confirm repair. After replacing the tires, my second capture still showed a vibration in the drivetrain. I don’t…
iPhone. That's how it was downloaded when I purchased the program back then.
The App Store on iPhone or google play store for android phones. Just search NVH and you should see it
Hello, I was wondering if there is a link for the app and also how can someone from Canada sign up for the course, since I have tried this before and I am stuck at the postal code/zip code part since the Canadian postal code is not accepted.
Are you using IOS or Android phone? Below is a link for IOS App Store apps.apple.com/us/app/nvh/id1…
Thank you for sharing but I am on Android I hope I can find one for that type of system
Try 34221 as a zip code and see if that works. If not, send me an email to … and I’ll get it fixed for you.
Thank you for the tip, it turned out that I was registered thru NASTF, but I forgot about that. Now how do I get to the course you are doing this week?
It’s way too long to type out but the easiest way is to go to ctionline.com and Click on the virtual classroom tab under training and watch the videos on how to find and register for a class. if you have trouble getting registered send me an email to … and I will see what I can do to help.
That's fantastic Rich, thanks for the heads up! It's been on my radar since Adam's class at Vision but I hadn't pulled the trigger yet. Now I'm glad I waited. Does anyone know if it's transferable to a different device once purchased? I'll be getting a new phone soon and was hoping it wouldn't be locked to my current one.
I’m pretty sure I’m about 3 or 4 phone upgrades since I first bought the app. You should be fine.
That's what I figured but I appreciate the clarification Rich.
Does this work like the Kent moore tool GM EVA or EVA2? with the vibrate software?
