ADAS Rates in Canada
Would any Canadian shops care to share current rates and how they are paying for the ADAS resets depending on what needs to be done? Have seen pricing all over the map on this. Specifically looking for Ontario/Alberta specifically for the private insurance companies like Intact, Wawanesa, Avia, TD Meloche etc.
ADAS is a field all its own, do not flat rate anything in my opinion. I have had had service calls that were easy, but most are difficult due to missed steps during the repair process.
I kind of second that. Don't worry about what the other shops charge- you have to get what you need to get to support the service and like everything else-every vehicle/situation is different/unique.
Thanks for the reply's guys, I hear you. However not sure what it is like in Texas and Illinois, however here we have a public insurance group that dictates what they will pay (specifically in Manitoba) and it is flat rate. Static is one price, Dynamic is another, and both is another. Max is $660 if you are doing multiples. Included is pre/post and any programming, road tests and research…
Insurance companies here have been paying 2.5 hrs per calibration.
here in Ontario it is definitely a fight to get paid what its worth. If the body shop wants to be a preferred shop they will have to agree to a set hourly rate, which in my opinion is way to low to properly equip the shop. When it comes to pre/post scanning there are set rates with certain exceptions like secure gateway. most of the insurance companies are reasonable about strange circumstances…
Would definitely be up for chat when you get sometime.
At a minimum you should be at $350 for non-Euro and $575 for Euros. Exotics over $1000 each calibration. Adjustmemts, Diagnostics and Additional Cals extra.
Hi Patrick, We have done hundreds of calibrations in BC and tend to get $275-$350 on most, multiples get charged for each component usually.
