Ford programming
1FTFW1EF2DFA62515 I don’t have a option for pcm to program. It was a ngv now switched back to gas. With code u0108. Other modules are there, not pcm. No help from ford. Latest update from Ford, last update did not have pcm. Where to go from here?
There is AS BUILT information available on Oasis and motorcraftservice.com What are you using for programming? If you can do an AS BUILT, then the info is available... motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/Detail…
Did you begin the programmable module replacement procedure with the original PCM connected?
There should be PCM listed in module reprogramming and programmable module installation. Asbuilt menu might not show PCM. I would recommend performing a Key off tear tag programming to flash back to stock gasoline calibration. you can reference the process in this post: diag.net/msg/m6z2mmuzj7…
Programming is not listed in pmi, programming,or as built. Using ids, and original module. Look like the problem was to many sessions in ids. Will from cas cleared old sessions and a key off No communication finally let me pmi. Still could not do as built, kicked me out. Code is gone customer happy. Thank you for the reply’s
Hi Sam No I have ids 1 and 2. Should I? I know you do a lot of programming.
Sam, FORScan will allow for configuration of a module (writing asbuilt or global car configuration) but will not update the operating software (calibration update). I don't believe FORScan allows for configuration changes to PCM. Probably a good way to keep groups like C.A.R.B. from bothering them.
