Does Feel Like It's Shifting Into Second

Vehicle shift fine into reverse and first. When it comes time to switch to 2nd, the scan tool indicates commanded 2nd, but it doesn't feel like it did anything, no slipping. Input and Output speed are consistent, until it defaults into limb home 3rd gear and turbine speed drops below output speed and DTC's are set.

I don't really see anything on testing the solenoids as the DTC troubleshooting doesn't mention anything. Could it not be an issue with the Solenoid pack. No 2nd and 5th. I'm not familiar with how shifting works on Dodge and can't find information on what each solenoid does.

Would a be worth trying a Solenoid pack?

Does Dodge have like a diagnostic tree for transmission? I'm more of a Ford and Chevrolet guy and used to have some great transmission manuals on how they operated.

I did check all resistance of all the solenoids.

Just diagnosed two chrysler vehicle with similar issues found solenoid pack assembly bad on both , first van shop just rolled dice and changed the compete transmission ,used from salvage yard like 300.00, all was good. second van I checked solenoids and they past static ohm test, which is not the best method , anyway my thoughts was solenoid pack heating up shortingout throwing it in limp in mode

I got a 62te transmission manual with a apply chart. I test drove it several times and mapped all the gear changes. From the calculations and based on gear ratios and the clutch applies, it looks like the direct clutch is not applying. I'm going to pull out the compounder Monday and see if a seal is blown for the direct clutch. I would try an air pressure test, but I don't have a test plate.

I do have a low drum failure, but interesting I still had reverse. I figured low drum wear was related to no reverse. Going to order the Direct and Low Drum kit and see what happens.
