In an earlier thread it was asked if anyone had scoped the output of a certain maintainer used for programming. I captured these off the two maintainers I own. I used to have a Schumacher but it failed me and I was very disappointed with their service. I don't recommend that brand. BTW the snapon is made by Schumacher. I use these to program regularly although I will admit I grab the PowerMax more. I like the handle, voltage control and cables better. The IOTA has no voltage control. Some units have an option of a two voltages, this one does not. It's full 14.2 or nothing. Feel free to add your own captures of different maintainers you use. Keep in mind that battery condition as well as connections will affect the performance. These two I share are both on the same vehicle/battery with the same loads applied. Your results may vary.
If you don't mind me asking. Where was the wave form captured. The battery? DLC connector?
Both were captured at the battery cable clamp. Maintainer was also connected the same point.
My experience with Schumacher battery chargers has been the same. They seem to be the biggest company that sells battery chargers, but most of their products just aren't that great.
Here is another one I know is out on the market now. Does anyone have any experience with this unit?
Hi Justin, I have one of those in the shop and have used it multiple times before producing a video review for PTEN. Within the video I shared a comparison scope capture of it and a popular brand that is widely used in dealerships. The unit is well made and with very nice cables and clamps. I plan to continue testing this unit out and will provide honest feedback regardless of performance.
Would you mind sharing captures of the voltage on that unit?

Thanks Scott. It looks like it’s a good option. I would consider the maintainer numbers to be on the better side of the maintainers I have seen. Even the charge mode isn’t so bad.
We've tested both. Drew uses the iota DLS90 in RAP2 and we have had very high success with several thousand flashes per month. There is a jumper for a single voltage adjustment. The other one you pictured (powermax) has mugh higher AC ripple but only appears when you are over 60 amps.

Now the same test done with the Pro Logix charger. I added a third channel like you guys did for your tests. I only saved the loaded capture since nothing really changed loaded to unloaded, its unbelievably clean in comparison to the cornwell I have been using.
