Keeps Throwing Code P2138
Have Installed Gm New Throttle Body

Car came in with p2138 4 months ago,different tech did throttle body and pedal ASSEMBLY​.​CAME back yesterday same ISSUE​.​GO into limp mode reduced power.I go to c200 connector find 6 burned wires from water coming IN​.​REPAIRED wires and also looked at c102 and at this point I can not figure this one out at ALL​.​LOOKING for no "magic bullet" just looking for another channel to SWIM​.​AS thot maybe new fresh EYEBALLS​.​THANKS

At this point I would concentrate on monitoring the APP sensor signals directly at the PCM especially after what you found at the C200 connector. Monitor as many as you can simultaneously while test driving or manipulating the harness or load test the six wires from the APP to the PCM.

I recall reading somewhere the same thing to monitor the app sensors,oddly enough they are within what gm si says is exceptable?

Do you have a two good 5v references at the pedal? What does scan data show when you sweep the pedal?

Per gm they are within spec numbers.

Clear codes and actuate the pedal all the way with the key on engine off. Does the code come back right away?

Do you have a scope? If no what test equipment do you have? Does the vehicle go into limp mode immediately or is there a condition that causes it? Have you monitored data while moving harness?
