How do I get a ECM programming file that I "ordered" through Autolink?
Using my Autologic unit I sent an order for the programming files for the Engine Control Module on a 2013 Jaguar XF 2.0L.
What do I do to get the files? I need to get it programmed so the car can be picked up tomorrow.
Thanks for your help,
Depends what Autologic unit you are using? I would recommend send them log file on car you are working on and have them help you out.
Thanks to everyone that responded to my question. Autologic had the file I needed ready for me to download this morning. Trace
I see you're using a blue box so you will need to place the order through autolink as you said. If you have trouble call the office @ … open at 9EDT so you should have no problem getting it done first thing and they will walk you through it. It's very easy once you know how to use autolink. I hope that helps.
Download JLR SDD. Use a j box. You get OEM diagnostics and programming. They also have reasonable short term subscriptions. OEM is the way to go, you won't be sorry.
I personally like the Autologic programming better than factory.
It looks like you have some good responses already and one from autologic which is awesome they are responding.. I have not had anything but good results with autologic.. I have blue box which at one time allowed for programming staight through that device. But times change and that is not allowed anymore. you need a passthru ( JBOX) device.. With a loptop. To input the coding. RAP BOX or the
Jeffery is right, call us this morning to submit a help request. That software needs to be released manually. Give us a call … We will walk you through the process.
Trace, assuming everything was submitted properly and they have actually sent you the programming file, also assuming blue box, you should log into your profile on Autologic's website and click the downloads. The file they sent you should be under "my files". Download the correct file and have the blue box connected to the same computer with your ethernet cord, autologic unit turned on in update
