Training? Why waste your money?
Is techncial training wasting your money and your techs time?
Is it literally just throwing money out the window?
For absolute beginners maybe not - starting off can be tough unless know basics But for more experienced yes can see being waste Tho believe main-dealers are always sending their staff off to training sessions
Absolutely! For the experienced guys, is it more about the type of training or the content of said training that creates a lack luster result? Do you think flat rate and pay effect the effectiveness of training?
For experienced techs, it seems you have to sit through hours and hours of training before you come across one new thing.
I agree with this - and the management training is similar. I feel trainers often work too hard to fit the class to “everyone”. That being said, folks on either of the extremes are left out. Yeah, I guess that’s a good point, how much new stuff can there be? SAE prices have always deterred me from purchasing their materials. I wonder how many engineers fork out the money for that stuff. Things are going fine over here. Hope things are okay for you, as well.
