No Throttle Pedal Response
i received ford f… with accelaration problem ,customer said that the gas pedal stopped working after battery was replaced!!!!!!!!!!!!
fault code p2127:throttle /pedal position sensor /switch E circuit low input.
is replacing the battery the cause of this problem?anyone face the issue ?
plz advice and help.
No, but scope the signal or just check the voltage reference or a open wire
Usually with that model year the accelerator pedal takes a dump, buttttt why was bat changed and did they have a driveability problem before
It's referring to the APP Sensor. Check VREF (5V), SIG RTN (gnd), and the APP Signal Circuits.
Roger dat, did u perform a voltage check on signal return to c if it has continuity
Connect scanner and do voltage sweep on throttle
A throttle relearn procedure may be needed here.
As others have said either scope or monitor live data for APP2 (E) and you should be able to isolate the fault. Idling the Vehicle will learn whatever adaptation the PCM wants to learn. There is no scan tool adaptation for this.
