I agree, at least when it comes to the good AM parts companies. I just laugh at shops when I see them buy the super cheap junk and expect it to work the same as OE. Like my example of buying a part that costs $100 for $15...its unlikely the $15 part is going to be worth a grain of salt. I've certainly installed more AM parts in my career than OE. Couldn't agree more. Bad new parts are right at the very top of the list, along with man-made problems (the type you get when people who shouldn't work on cars, work on cars) for the worst things to chase down.
