Hyundai J2534 Diagnostic application missing functions for 2021 Hyundai Venue
What repair are you unable to perform?
Forward radar variant coding and calibration with the J2534 diagnostic R2R software.
What information are you having trouble obtaining?
NA, functions do not exist in the scan tool.
What steps have you taken to obtain the information you need?
Reached out to Hyundai, was instructed to reach out to GIT America, GIT informed me that the functions are removed upon request from Hyundai.
Hyundai's email response was: "Sorry for the trouble. A full refund for both charges is being processed now but could take up to 10 business days to show on the statement."
I responded with when will it be fixed it has been over 2 years, they have not responded, its been 4 days, the car is sitting here waiting to be coded and calibrated as the dealer is 6 weeks out.

Service information is missing all mentions of the front radar system, they are also aware of this and the response was the same, sorry….
Keith you are not the only one who noticed this gap. I have from others about this issue. If you like I can make a mobile call with the OE tool….lol Just taking a poke at you….lol
LOL, I love it Robert! I did complete the job with an Autel this morning, but reluctantly. I was able to confirm variant coding to be correct vs original physically damaged part. The calibration followed OEM SI and used OEM reflector but I still would rather pay for and use the R2R software for the few Hyundai and Kia vehicles we see. Keith I will reach out to those who have brought it to my attention. Most have used the Autel to complete the Calibration but give me the VIN so I can breakdown the variant coding based on the build sheet so they perform the function with the Autel.
I am told that these issues are still occurring. I am closing this particular SIR unresolved as I have not had any response from any channel I have tried at both Hyundai or KIA.
Understood, what are the next steps required by me, to file for a review by the review committee and dispute resolution panel per the NASTF service information standards signed by the OEMs?
