Need Known Good Cam And Crank Wave Form

This one is from a VIN B engine on a Sky. It only shows the 2 cam sensors (intake bottom, exhaust top), but with only one correlation code this comparison may be what you need. If yours look the same at a hot idle, then a CKP comparison is needed (and I don't have one at this time).

Do you know if that is the same correlation as a 2.4 eco tech? Like a cobalt or malibu?

If the 8th VIN is a B then it should be exactly the same no matter what they drop it into. GM doesn't swap triggers mid-year like Chrysler. So it's possible there are variations, but I doubt it.

LOL Tim! Those Dodge/Jeep 4.7 engine swap no-starts with the wrong trigger wheels are quite famous in "case study world" I bet. I've seen it enough in iATN circles.

Hi Geoff: Some of them also had 2 different types of injectors. Fun with Dick & Jane is when the wrong engine is installed and then they start swapping injectors from one engine to the other. :) Guido

Great tip! Have only seen the wrong injectors after a swap on Rangers where one had FlexFuel and one didn't. What's funny is, when they get really old, neither of the color-band choices are what either of them look like anymore. (IIRC; was a few years ago)

I've seen the injector swap issue on explorers too. It seems only an issue on the 4.0L though

I have my capture here . the vehicle only runs rough during start up in the first 10 seconds, customer states vehicle runs good plenty of power all time issue is only during start up. I recorded the dtc , and check freeze frame data the dtc set on 27 second after start up P0017. I confirmed customer concern I have a video when fault occurred, recorded data , dtc info, clear code and road test
