Training for German Makes
Would someone be kind enough to point me in the direction of some solid online information/ training for Mercedes/BMW/VW/AUDI. TIA
I know that Seth Thorson with LMV Bavarian was offering some training videos. Check with Seth or Justin Morgan. I'd also look into World Pacs schedule. I've heard good things about Luke Murray.
Check out the Training schedule for Vision 2019. John Thornton, Seth Thorson, Bob Pattengale and others are presenting Euro Training classes. visionkc.com
This is a new magazine that has some good real world procedures and fixes. derfixtech.com
aviondemand.com We've have a few of their DVD's and has some good info on them. Also, some of the OE sites have training portals within them. VW has their Self-Study-Program, BMW has PDF's, and Mercedes has some training videos within their OE site, these are all subscription based though.
Ssf imported auto parts is also a good source. Not sure if you have to be a customer. Imagine so. Some of the same trainers as mentioned earlier.
Its been a year or so since I've been on the site, I understand its been upgraded quite a bit but check out Angelo and Peter over at Aeuromotive. (It is a paid site.) Aeuromotive.com
A car is a car if you understand computer logicis you can fix every car understanding the euro lingo is the learning curve but ohms law never changes forget about the badge on the car and diagnose the part or circuit issue. Seth Thorson offers BMW training numerous times a year thru his own training group LMV Bavarian, as well as doing classes for SSF autoparts. Schedules can be found on both parties websites. 2019 schedules are being finalized currently. SSF did offer MB, VW/AUDI, Porsche, and BMW not sure what the 2019 schedule will hold.
