Fdrs Is Not Recognizing Vin # For This Car

Hello. Was using fdrs (2 day license) to program rcm for 2021 ford transit connect. Using autel with aezflasher 3. Have used before to program other fords with no problem. This specific car was giving trouble since the beginning. Fdrs recognize vin # but doesn't connect to any module. When tried offline and selected transit connect, nothing happened. When selected transit (north america) it gave me access to all modules, could read codes, allowed me to do all programming process but in the end, gave an error and said couldn't downloas files. Reported the issue through the software 3 different times, each time giving more detailed information. The thing is ford never replies saying they received message and they will take a look at the issue. No call, no email, nothing. When call ford tech line, they can only help with software issues. Nothing technical. Has this ever happened to anyone? Customer is calling because it was last week and still no answer. Car is already finished, just waiting for that programming to happen. Is there some number I don't have that I can call for follow up? Will appreciate your answers. Thanks, edwin

This vehicle needs VCI with FD-CAN protocol . Not sure about your autel VCI but Rotunad VCM3 is required for communication with 21+ ford vehicles .

Purchased aez flasher from ae tools. As per web site, supports fd can protocol. Already talked with their customer support and they say vci is fine. Problem is with ford web site they said. aetools​.​us/product/aezfla…

Same problem with F150 2021. Spend 3 hours with Ford customer service. They working on it. Sometimes happens with vin storage on they mainframe.

I’v had same problem with two 2021 F-150s. in the last month. Reads vin but cannot decode. Using Autel 919 MVCI.
