I suspect a faulty cluster, no communication with cluster on scantool.

No cluster operation, have good powers and grounds at cluster. Other modules reporting no comm with cluster.

My question ….Med speed can bus and High speed can bus have 2.5 volts can hi and 2.4 volts can low

on both high and medium speed CAN with no activity while key is on and cluster connector is unplugged.

I am scoping at cluster connector unplugged. Seems odd…..

Connect the scan tool and start polling modules - if all OK, you should see some packets then…

Cluster is the gateway on this, where the HS and MS ‘meet and greet’ so to speak. If the gateway is down, you'll usually have not much going on on the medium speed side. However, you should see activity when you activate other things on the MS bus.

Hi, I just would like to add that ii is neccessary to chk MS CAN network at the bus circuits hi and low of the IPC connector also, before you replace the ipc ,as it is possible that the no communication is the result of bus circuit fault ( short or open).

If there was a circuit fault ‘outside’ the IP, the bus itself would have an issue affecting several (at least) modules, as comm would be interrupted to more than one piece of the system.
