Vehicle Gear Knob Stucked

Good morning guys i have a Chrysler 200 - 2015 model V6

The vehicle was running fine until the battery flats

So we have tried jump start after that we were unable to put the car in drive as the gear knob is stuck in 'N"

We run a diagnostic test & its shows following

Try running a "Restore vehicle configuration" with the Witech. If you don't have the Witech your going to need to take it to the dealer.

Rizwan I have encountered this before at a few automotive shops. About 8 out of 10 times the "restore Vehicle Configuration" will resolve this issue due to low voltage concerns. Sometimes a global reset will result in the same repair. The other 2 or so times the shops have had to replace the valve body within the transmission. Do you have a local dealer nearby or a mobile tech with FCA Witech in…

Do you think its from bad voltage supply for tcm as the car was replaced with battery before this issues starts

This is the most common complaint is low voltage issues. The modules don't like low voltage and it affects them greatly. Some manufacturers are more prone than others to low voltage concerns

This is normal on a lot of FCA vehicles when the battery is disconnected or went low. Like Robert said, need to run " Restore Vehicle Configuration" or "Proxi Alignment" with Witech.

I have ran into this issue. Proxy configuration alignment should make it all better.

Rizwan, do you have access to an Autel? You do not need web access or a log in to Tech Authority. Restore Proxi alignment of Restore original vehicle configuration will do the job perfectly well. With the WiTech you need to pay for a subscription to Tech Authority like you were doing a reflash. The subscription to the tool alone, I don't believe, will get the job done. Yet the Autel does the…
