I have couple questions about this one. I am wondering what kind of Exhaust back pressure you should expect on one of these? I am getting upwards of … under load. This vehicle came in originally with a low power concern and I found the EGR transfer tube at the turbo to be split at he Flange at the EGR inlet. I replaced the pipe and the vehicle went on its way. A couple days later a low power concern was present. The Codes that were present were

15FE00 B28/20 (Diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor) - Signal is implausible

11D700 The upper limit value of component 'B19/19 (Temperature sensor upstream of the Diesel

Particulate Filter (DPF))' has been exceeded.

13AF00 Diesel Particulate Filter - The soot content of the particulate filter is too high for

regeneration

11A700 Diesel Particulate Filter - The soot content of the particulate filter is too high for

regeneration.

I first tested the B28/20 DPF pressure diff sensor. This was reading 5V at he signal wire all the time. Power and ground were good so I replaced the sensor. I now see that B28/20 is reading normally but vehicle is still really lacking power. What would be a good next step? I have done no adaptions or relearns

Thanks Guys for the wise words in advance

I would try to do a static regeneration. And check dpf % before and after regen.

Thanks I'll try that and let you know

There is a teach in procedure for the diff. pressure sensor. You have to change the b19/19 temp sensor as well. The temp. sensors on these fail often. There are teach in procedures for many component on these diesels including air filter. Check the menus of your scanner. Good luck.

I am noticing that there are a lot of processes for these Sprinter/Benz Vans. We did end up ordering the sensor b19/19 upsteam EGT for this vehicle. I will do the teach in for the Diff pressure sensor tomorrow hopefully.

Those codes will cause a derate failure mode effects management strategy and if a regen is not performed and all the required teach in processes a no start on a Mercedes eventually.

Hey Guys this one is resolved. It was actually kind or interesting because this vehicle came back in the EGR pipe blown out again (Ill explain that later). As for the other faults as stated in the initial code readout, I found the first issue to be related to : 11D700 The upper limit value of component 'B19/19 (Temperature sensor upstream of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF))' has been…
