2003 BMW X5 4.4i 4.4L (M62) 5-spd (5HP-24) — 5UXFB33573LH48696

Greetings, I need a little help clarifying something on this BMW. I’m trying to look up wiring diagrams on on this website newtis.info and I was trying to look up the exact vehicle. This vehicle shows That it is a X5 4.4 L M52. On the website it doesn’t show any M52 X5s. They only only go to G series.. Can somebody give me any information on why am confused. Thank you, Doug

Sorry 2003. This is the same vehicle I’ve been trying to find out why the air suspension system has no power to work after replacing the compressor motor. No power going to the switch on the dash and all the fuses checked out OK. The vehicle had no codes so that wasn’t the reason.

The information on TIS is correct . you don’t have a BMWX5s., vin coded X5s are manufactured in Greer, South Carolina at the Spartanburg BMW plant and modified for armoured, security versions in Mexico at the BMW de México Tolucaplant.[4] Since July 2009, some assembly operations are also performed in Kaliningrad, Russia by Avtotor.

It should be M62TU, m52 is a a straight 6 used in the 90s. This site is good for breaking BMW vins down, hope this helps. mdecoder.com/decode/5uxfb33…

Thank you that makes sense. How did you find the E53? Certainly not just buy the VIN, from work Identifix shows. And I’m sorry I was M62 not 52 my bad. And there it is it’s under the ax’ series. . That helps for looking into the exact wiring diagram. And I see BMW calls them SAV‘s.

Idk I just kinda learn the models as I go. It’s not like Benz or Porsche that have the model designation in the part #s. SAV = Sport Activity Vehicle. I’d check the air pump relay. Also try helping it up a little with the lift and clear codes even If there are none. Also there might be a reset option in the scanner. If the pump was bad than more than likely you have a bad spring as well. I don’t…

Thanks Michael, when I did look it up on my launch X431 scanner I think I looked and there wasn’t any option for the air suspension system. I will check that again. And there’s no power or anything to the switch so I will look again today see if I can trace something down.

Yes that was really nice. I’ll try to sign up for the other one and see what happens. Well it’s not letting me enter a username and password. At least on my iPhone. I might try my computer sometime.
