P0016 — Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor A
P0341 — Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 or Single Sensor
P000A — "A" Camshaft Position Slow Response Bank 1
P052A — Cold Start "A" Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced Bank 1

Stretched timing chain problems and repairs described in this procedure apply to the following Volkswagen models and engines: - Affected engines: 2.0 liter turbocharged TSI, TFSI Engine codes CCTA, CBFA, CAEA, CAEB, CDNC - Affected models: … Volkswagen Jetta, Tiguan, GTI, Passat CC, Beetle, EOS (2008.5 and up) If the malfunction indicator light (MIL) is illuminated, check for the following dtcs stored in the ecm fault memory. Thanks for the info. I have done 2 of these jobs with cylinder head as the valves where bent. I actually have one in the parking lot right now that has p0016 and misfire codes on every cylinder. Chain rattles pretty bad. At what point would you say/think that valve to piston contact has happened? I figured if it was bad enough to cause misfires on every cylinder most likely it is that far off it…

There is no rhyme or reason for when they bend or not. My advice to you would do a leak down before you start the job.

Thanks last one I had I was able to see contact marks on top of the pistons with a camera.
