Thanks for the info. I have done 2 of these jobs with cylinder head as the valves where bent. I actually have one in the parking lot right now that has p0016 and misfire codes on every cylinder. Chain rattles pretty bad. At what point would you say/think that valve to piston contact has happened? I figured if it was bad enough to cause misfires on every cylinder most likely it is that far off it…
There is no rhyme or reason for when they bend or not. My advice to you would do a leak down before you start the job.
