Cannot get link to reset password for Mitsubishi
What repair are you unable to perform?
No repair, just trying to run a VIN. See below.
What information are you having trouble obtaining?
I am trying to log into the web site to run a VIN for a customer. My username and password were not working. I tried to create a new one but it said my email, …, already had an account. I clicked the forgot ID and forgot password links, clicked to have a reset email sent to my email. I have tried for 2 weeks to get that email but with no luck.
What steps have you taken to obtain the information you need?
I have tried on numerous occasions over the past 2 weeks to get the reset email. I emailed Mitsubishi customer service help desk to which they gave me the website webmaster support email. I emailed them on 11.17.21 and then again on 11.19.21. I have not heard back from them with even an acknowledgment they received and are working on it. I called … and after trying many different options and was connected to a customer service rep who tried his hardest to help me. They told me that I had to email the webmaster which I did again. I asked if they had a phone number but they do not. I need to run the VIN for the key cuts but it seems I have no recourse other than to go through this route since I cannot speak to anyone in tech support at Mitsubishi. I do not understand why the website said I have an account but I cannot receive the reset emails.
(Optional) Any other comments or concerns?
We still have yet to hear from anyone with Mitsubishi or NASTF SIR on this topic/issue. We have reached out to both via email again. NASTF SDRM help desk suggested we update this post again in hopes the NASTF SIR team will see it and respond.
So you know. I did forward this to Mitsubishi for review over 2 weeks ago. I am having problems with notifications but we are working to resolve it. I have had not responses from Mitsubishi for months. I have referred these to EPA hoping get a quicker response. My suggestion is that you ask for a NASTF information Review and let our subcommittee take the next step in our resolution process…
