Volkswagen Tiguan 2021
Hello Diagnostician.
Working on 2021 Tiguan. Body shop installed new Driver side Blind Spot module. Did quick online coding with Launch. Still codes remain in 3C Lane Change Assistant B201200 (Dataset Implausible) and B200500 (Data record Invalid). Any suggestions?
Did they perform the calibration procedure after they replaced the Blind Spot Module?
Not to my knowledge. Does it require dumpler radar for calibration?
Check out the calibration procedure attached. This is for a 2020, but it believe it's the same model
Was it a new OEM module? You are showing a data bus error, that tells me wiring is compromised.
Yes it's OEM module. I check all wires for +,-, CAN h, CAN l. All good
It is component protected. You will need ODIS to release the components protection and the code and program and calibrate
Vs. going through it all let’s just say you need ODIS and a way to calibrate it. Launch won’t cut it
ODIS is the only way to do it. It will download the data in to the module, then the coding. After that you need to perform calibration
Unless launch was able to access and retrieve that vehicles backup from VW “which i highly doubt that the vehicle was ever backwd up from a VW dealership” it is not coded even thou launch said it did Vas Ibko. Either you need factory Elsa/Odis software with internet connection or a third party like Airpro to successfully code modules on VW/Audi as for calibration VW moved in direction of…
After calibration, several reasons can set these implausible signal faults. Using ODIS, requires to perform software configuration and FES clearing on Gateway module, Front assist module, and possibly lane assist module. Another reason could be body shop workmanship. There is a TSB indicating that incorrect lane assist sensor installed as one is master and the other is slave… or paint job is too…
