2020 Mitsubishi Rvr R1234yf Charge Amount

Michael Owner/Technician Quebec Posted   Latest

Hi i am charging a 2020 RVR with 1234yf and cannot find the refrigerant fill amount anywhere. Its for a body shop and i pulled .448kg out of it before they did the work. The problem is i got it with no hood and the replacement hood they installed has a sticker for 134. Alldata shows no info. Just wondering if anyone has the Refrigerant capacity for 1234yf.

Thanks

Michael I checked ProDemand and they don’t list an RVR but for a 2020 Eclipse they show 0.5 kg of R1234yf. So your .448 kg might be the capacity for the RVR. Can you contact your service information provider and see if they have the capacity? You can also get a subscription to Mitsubishi service information for 19.95 for 24 hours if you can’t get the information anywhere else. HTH.

Hi Michael,Normally i fill up for the ambient pressure.I just check the google and take the pressure chart and fill it according to that.I have compared with actual amount we fill and it's exactly same amount with the specs.Try that or just fill the amount what you recovered. Must work.

I would just put back the .448kg you got out of it if there wasn't damage to the A/C system
