Ford FJDS - Can you deactivate an alarm no keypad? (Posted by NASTF)
What repair are you unable to perform?
Deactivate the alarm using fjds software. The truck has no alarm key pad
What information are you having trouble obtaining?
Can the Alarm be deactivated using this tool and or on this vehicle? Cannot find a mention in service information.
What steps have you taken to obtain the information you need?
waited 10 minutes each time to hear the honk and I tried Programing it would not .. I would go to body pats and erase all keys it would get to a screen where it ask me to type ford motorcraft log ins and then nastf logings each time I typed nastf login it would go back to beginning of menu and I would have to select body pats all over again I contacted motorcraft website it said to go to manuals and procedures I purchased a subscriptions on there to see the procedures .. no where on there does it tell you how to deactivate alarm when no key pad available

This piece of info may help you. When the perimeter alarm is armed and an attempt is made to establish a scan tool session with the vehicle, the perimeter alarm activates. Every time an unauthorized access is detected (the alarm activates), all BCM programming, PID monitoring and self-test sessions are blocked for 10 minutes. Ford Response #1 Donny – the issue below sounds like the problem we had before the IDS R120 software was released to the field. Can you find out what version software he is using? If he is using the latest IDS or FJDS software can we get some log files to take a look at it? There are no aftermarket alarms on this truck are there?
