2013 Mitsubishi Fuso Canter FE160 3.0L (4P10 161hp)

What’s everyone using for diag on the newer FUSO trucks? we have a Texa currently and its not my favorite. the Jpro is a joke with these trucks. i currently have an FE-160 i cant get to come out of derate. i cant find a procedure and we dont have factory software

I would say G-scan or newly released tool “Zenith Z5” are the best aftermarket tools for any Japanese commercial vehicles. We have successfully used it with European type FUSO on Daimler platform as well as for truck from Japanese domestic market, based on Mitsubishi platform. flex pipe before the DOC was torn and set several aftertreatment codes. i finally found a service procesure for taking it out of limp mode though. after the new parts are on ill try and run thru it. says something about allowing the truck to idle for “several hours” to allow it into “creep mode”. which sounds like a slow regen. so we’ll see what happens.
