What repair are you unable to perform?

I am trying to order a spare key from our mercedes dealership for the above mentioned vehicle. I have all the paperwork filled out and my authorization is completed from nastf/ d-1 form done. The dealership is totally unaware of this new policy and I am not getting any response from them.

What information are you having trouble obtaining?

Tryign to order a spare key. The dealership is not aware of any updates to order keys.

What steps have you taken to obtain the information you need?

I have emailed, called and spoken parts technician. I have left a message for the parts manager john smith. Still no reply

Get ahold of Donny Seyfer with #nastf as he monitors this stuff very well from what I've heard . Maybe Keith with #L1Automotive may be able to help you as he's dealt with headaches before. Just not sure if he's dealt with this headache before.

Sorry for the delay. I was in meetings or airplanes the last few days. I have sent this to the TRP expert at MB USA for a response. I was told that under franchise laws MB USA is unable to compel dealers to sell to aftermarket repairers in a meeting last week. This sounds like lack of awareness of policy changes however.
